Commenting during a Finance Committee debate on the Budget Process 2009-10, Liberal Democrat Finance spokesperson Jeremy Purvis MSP said: "Last week the Finance Secretary described the current economic crisis as a "ferocious storm". But in response to this tempest Ministers have altered the course of their budget by less than 1 per cent.
"Liberal Democrats along with people and businesses across Scotland demand more from the SNP.
"We need a Budget that is a proper response to the current economic crisis and less spin from this Government."
