Commenting on the Scottish Government's publication of a document setting out the proposed new responsibilities of Creative Scotland, Liberal Democrat Culture spokesperson Iain Smith MSP said:
Iain Smith MSP"Liberal Democrats still have serious concerns about the financial implications of Creative Scotland. But what we don't need right now is more dither and delay from the SNP Government.
"The Culture Minister must explain why she has repeatedly refused my request to take part in cross party meeting to discuss the best way forward for Creative Scotland.
"Scotland's cultural sector does not need yet another publication on Creative Scotland. It needs real action from Ministers to address the many concerns that remain about this new quango."
