Finnie condemns Tory vote against C.Diff inquiry

Liberal Democrat health spokesman Ross Finnie has condemned the Tories for allowing the SNP Government to wriggle out of ordering an immediate Public Inquiry into C. Difficile in Scottish hospitals.

Ross Finnie MSPCommenting after a debate in the Scottish Parliament on C. Difficile, Mr Finnie said:

"It's disgraceful that the Conservatives have helped the SNP wriggle out of an immediate Public Inquiry into C. Difficile in Scottish hospitals.

"But, tonight's vote does not take away from the fact that this Parliament voted for a Public Inquiry in September last year. The Health Secretary needs to respect the will of Parliament."
