Commenting on the launch of the UK Government's new website designed to show people what action the UK Government is taking during the recession, Liberal Democrat MP Alistair Carmichael said:
Alistair Carmichael MP"This confirms what we all already knew, namely that there is no help to be had for the Scottish people from the New Labour Government at Westminster.
"The Welsh Secretary, Paul Murphy, has spoken about the support the UK Government had made available for businesses and individuals in Wales. But what about his Scottish equivalent? What has our Mr Murphy done?
"It's quite apparent that Murphy's law might work to the advantage of the Welsh, but has nothing to offer the Scots."
