Commenting on the news from the Crown Office that no charges will be brought over the Clostridium Difficile outbreak at the Vale of Leven Hospital, Liberal Democrat Health spokesperson Ross Finnie MSP said:

"The decision by the Crown Office makes it crucial that every assistance is given to make sure that the Public Inquiry into the C. Difficile outbreak at Vale of Leven gets underway as quickly as possible."
